Why learn with USB?
What is the difference between regular university study and LLL courses? What are the advantages of LLL at USB?
LLL is not the same as regular higher education and systematic preparation for future occupation as defined by Czech Social Security Act No. 117/1995 Col. This means that LLL participants are not eligible for government-funded health and social insurance. LLL participant – though they may study hard – do not have the statute of a student according to Higher Education Act No. 111/1998 Col. You can acquire a professional certificate; however, LLL graduates are awarded neither a university diploma nor an academic degree.
LLL participants are not eligible for price reduction on meals in the university canteen and/or university accommodation. Anyway USB Dormitories and canteens offer their services at reasonable prices. Also, LLL participants have access to USB libraries and other ICT services and facilities. Just check out our excellent Academic library. However, to use these services you need to get university ID card.
